About the Studio

The Living
Workshop

An interior design studio focused on creating homes that feel considered, characterful and deeply personal.

I've always been fascinated by why some homes simply feel lovely to walk into, even if you can't immediately explain why.

The way a kitchen can draw everyone together without trying. The chair you naturally gravitate towards with a cup of tea. The colours that make a room feel calm, energising or welcoming. The spaces that simply feel good to be in.

Although my professional career began in finance, I have always been drawn to the way our surroundings influence how we feel and live. Becoming a mother and moving to Hampshire brought that awareness into sharper focus. Home became much more than somewhere to return to at the end of the day; it became the backdrop to family life, work, rest and all the ordinary moments in between.

As both my family and my career have evolved, I've become increasingly interested in the subtle ways our surroundings influence us. How light changes the feeling of a room. How colour shifts its atmosphere. How the layout of a space shapes the way we naturally gather, move and connect. How carefully chosen materials bring warmth, character and a sense of permanence that never feels driven by trends.

Today, my work combines practical design experience with how colour and design of our surroundings can shape our everyday lives. Years of studying yoga, movement and the body have also shaped the way I think about balance, awareness and how we experience the spaces around us. Together, these experiences have deepened my appreciation for the relationship between how we live and the environments we create.

The Living Workshop is built on a simple belief: that a home should be both beautiful and deeply connected to the life that happens within it.

Every project begins with listening. I want to understand how you live, what matters to you and how you want your home to feel. Together we'll create spaces that are thoughtful, personal and made for the way you live. Homes that feel just as good on an ordinary Tuesday morning as they do when they're filled with family and friends.

Compose & Consider

I develop a layered design concept, where colour, material, layout and light work in harmony. Each room is considered both independently and as part of the whole.

Realise & Refine

Through careful project management and a network of trusted craftspeople, the design comes to life, refined at every stage until the space feels exactly right.
